April Fools Flashback

Hey everyone!

A day like today always causes me to look back on a hilarious April Fools day many years ago. My dad thought it would be fun to prank us by setting every single alarm in the house (clocks, microwave, oven, etc...) to wake us all up in the early hours of the morning after he left for work. We had to run around the house trying to locate every alarm before it was finally quiet again.

But by then, as you can probably guess, we weren't a very happy bunch. We knew we couldn't let him get away with this, and so we started to plot some payback of our own.  

After a bit of thinking my brothers and I came up with the perfect plan. We talked to our mom and convinced her to drive us out to the store and buy us silly string, washable paint, streamers, and sponges. We then drove up to my dad's workplace, and when nobody was around we started to "decorate" his car. Inside and out. We went home afterwards and wondered about his reaction when he would leave work for the day and see what we'd done. xD

Finally, when my dad got home that night, we found out that he was, predictably, not too pleased with us. He had come out to his car with a co-worker close behind when they both noticed the car. His co-worker was delighted of course, causing extreme embarrassment for my dad when she started taking pictures to post online. xD After she calmed down and left though, my dad had to drive to the nearest car wash, during rush hour, as people pointed and laughed at him. xD

Needless to say, he's learned not to mess with us again xDDD
